[Update] - CS4 Training
Hey everybody, heres some cool news, to ensure that our programming practices and design techniques are top notch and following along with the ever changing world around us. Many of our staff are going to be having seminars and meeting with Adobe Certified Teachers in their respective fields. Also to ensure that our staff are able to combine the different fields on the go as well as intuitively the way the CS4 Suite was designed they will be taking 3 courses each in fields that they do not specialize in or feel that they would like to know more. More news to come
[Update] - CS4
hey there everyone, we just gave our systems a new revamp and have upgraded literally everything including all our software. we have now installed a complete set of CS4 Suites on all our computers. A quick note to some of you, if you do have some software that you would like us to try our then we would be more then happy to so so, however do contact us about It as we do not register our software through A.connection rather a different company. this helps us prevent people piracy as we have had cases in the past were products have been registered under A.connection but have had no affiliation with us. So if its registered under that name then it is most likely not ours.
[x] - Itouch app
We are starting production on a new iPhone and itouch application that will let us communicate with our project managment system and thus allow us to connect to it directly from mobile devices rather than from browsers on those devices. this is also to help keep our clients connected to us more easily.
[x] - Diary Photography
this is a project which is based from CSM in London. we will be taking pictures every day as a diary and then compiling them into a graphic novel of sorts. it will be from the perspective of someone who has never been to Ukraine before and a little bit saddistoc, but all in all we think it will make for a good story. we are looking forward to this project as many of us have a great deal of ties to the country and will let us put our own comical stories into the project.
[XPM] - Project Managment System
We have just created a new project managment system that will be quite important for us. it is based on an old open source system that has been out of production for years and we decides that we would take the old code and techniques and comletely rewrite it for our own purposes. this is important for us as we can now work literally from anywhere. it allows our customers to connect to their project and view live information and feeds about their project, they can also comment as well as add their own revisions of the work to help collaborate. truly a big step.
[x] - Website Project BAF
We have been contracted to work on another special project which we will have up and running in a month. we cannot tell you more about it other than that it is a complete life system. it is quite a cool idea and personally for the price that they are charging I can guarentee you that all of us here at A.Connection will be signing up together with all our friends.
[x] - Model Photography
We have opened a new section in our company that is based on model and fashion photography. we are starting with headshits for new models that wish to get there career up and running but dont wann to spend £300 to do so. we are currently starting at £80 for students and £150 for non students. if you would like to book a session with us then just drop us an email with your contact info. we already have all of the next two weeks booked so please get your names down early if you want to have them done this month.
[x] - New Wordpress Theme
We are starting production on a new wordpress theme. something cute and maybe a little cold, perhaps a winter theme even though winter has mostly passed. we will keep you up to date.
[x] - SID Station
we are starting production on a SID Station which is a midi controller using the traditional commadore64 SID music controller chip. these were put out of production a good while back and so the only way to get them is to massacre old commadores. we are taking these old chips to a new level to make them into a new age midi controller. we are aware that it is possible to buy they but at a pricy £900 they do come with a large pricetag. we are looking to build one with 6 chips for as little as £180 which would make the markup a bit more interesting. Note: we will not be selling these as the coding for the controller will be similar to that of other projects that have tried to do similar things and franctly we are not a gadget producer.
